When you book a resort, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and booking details (dates, room, guest count) so we can process the booking and share it with the resort owner you're booking with. When you create an owner or admin account, we collect your name, email, and password (stored securely and never visible to us in plain text).
If you pay via GCash, we collect the payment receipt you upload and the reference number, so the resort owner can verify and approve your payment. Resort owners provide their own GCash account details so guests can pay them directly.
If you contact us about listing a resort or ask to be reached about pricing, we collect the name and phone number you provide for that purpose.
We also collect basic, non-identifying usage data — which pages are visited and how long they take to load — to help us understand and improve the site. This doesn't include anything that identifies you personally.
To help confirm a resort owner's identity and reduce fraud, owners may optionally upload a government-issued ID. This document is stored in a private location that is never publicly accessible — only the uploading owner and platform admins can view it, and only through a temporary, time-limited link generated at the moment it's viewed. We use this solely to verify identity before granting a "Verified owner" badge, and it is not shared with guests or any other owner.
Your booking information is shared with the resort owner so they can prepare for your stay. We use your email or phone number if you contact us or if we need to reach you about a booking, a listing, or an inquiry you submitted. We do not sell your information to third parties.
If you leave a review, your name and review text are shown publicly on the resort's page. The email you use to verify your stay is not shown publicly.
Booking details are only accessible to the resort's owner and platform admins — not to other guests or the public. Government ID documents are held in a private, restricted-access location and are never given a public link. Passwords are hashed and never stored or visible in plain text. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.

You can look up and cancel your own bookings at any time using the "My bookings" tool with the email you booked with. If you'd like your data removed entirely, contact us and we'll process that request.
We use your browser's local storage to remember small preferences, like your light/dark mode choice and saved/favorited resorts. This stays on your device and isn't sent to us.
We may update this policy as the platform grows. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
